In yet another bold step, Pope Francis has proclaimed on 26th June 2016 that the Christians and the Roman Catholic Church should apologize to gay people and seek their forgiveness for the way they have been treated. “Not just apologize but ask for forgiveness” He added, “The question is: if a person who has that condition, who has goodwill and who looks for god, who are we to judge?” Of course, there is a lot for the conservatives to regret and ruminate. With this emphatic statement and the clear stand the Pope has become not only the leader of the Roman Catholic Church but a model to all faiths of the world. All spiritual moral social and religious laws should be subordinated to the human exigencies and requirements.
