We must act towards permanent solutions to save humanity from global warming and natural disasters!
l Centering environmental protection, a people’s movement – intensive campaign plans!
l “Protecting the environment is not for others; it is for ourselves!”
Not only in our Tamil Nadu this year, but across the world due to ‘global warming’, we are all enduring the misery of summer cruelty with unbearable suffering. Regarding this, we largely speak among our people about temporary solutions and enduring it with tolerance.
l It is our compulsory duty to create awareness among our people!
Nature has been forcefully reminding us that it is our compulsory duty to create awareness among our people about the right solutions for many issues, such as summer heat waves, deficit due to low rainfall, and sudden natural disasters.
Is it not the daily duty of everyone to intensify the environmental protection awareness – the people’s movement – during this period, on behalf of our movement, the Dravidar Kazhagam?
Integrating like-minded organizations such as ‘Poovulagin Nanbargal’, it is an urgent necessity to conduct an excellent campaign first.
l We must do this as a duty of life, without treating it as a ‘ritualistic custom’!
To prevent air pollution, planting and growing plenty of trees and plants here and there should not be treated as some ‘ritualistic custom’, but must be done as a duty of life. Let us plant and grow trees and plants in every household! Even if the space is limited, our first duty is to seek appropriate advice from relevant experts accordingly. Secondly, according to one’s own means and opportunities, everyone must show enthusiasm in this work, concluding that this is the foremost of our essential safety tasks, without considering this work as some government order.
Theefforttolaunchtheintensiveenvironmental protection campaign plans among the people, encouraging and motivating them into action, must be made successful.
l An important information that everyone should know
In the ‘Daily Thanthi’ newspaper, under the heading ‘Information of the Day’, yesterday (2.5.2026), an important information that everyone should know has been published. Here is the blessing (according to science) that trees provide to humanity:
l Which trees produce the most oxygen?
“It has been found that a well-grown tree produces the oxygen required for 2 to 10 people to breathe in a day. A mature tree produces approximately 260 pounds of oxygen a year. Generally, trees produce oxygen and glucose using carbon dioxide and sunlight. Trees release oxygen during the daytime. At the same time, they use a small amount of it for breathing at night. As far as trees are concerned, broad-leaved trees produce more oxygen than coniferous trees with small leaves, owing to their larger leaf surface area.
More than all these, studies also show that if trees are present in high numbers in a place, the temperature of that place will decrease by about 5 degrees Celsius and look cool. According to a statistic, the ratio of trees per person is found to be 699 in the United States. This is seen at the level of 3,266 in Australia, 203 in France, 143 in Ethiopia, and 4,964 in Greenland. In India, the number of trees per person is very low compared to other parts of the world. Environmentalists say that if the impact of temperature in various regions of the Indian nation is to decrease in the future, trees must be grown abundantly like the aforementioned countries.”
This is the news given by the ‘Daily Thanthi’ newspaper!
l It is an urgent necessity to create and do this beyond party, caste, and religion!
Along with increasing green cover and reducing air pollution, we must treat the existing natural resources we have as shields protecting us. Identifying the projects and policies that affect them and avoiding the avoidable ones, without affecting the perspective of the country’s industrial development, prioritizing people’s welfare through Harmonious Blend Reconciliation schemes—where two different matters mix beautifully and unite peacefully together—it is an urgent necessity to create and execute a continuous movement through volunteers beyond party, caste, and religion.
It is highly essential for the media, especially television channels, to create tasteful and interesting programs every day to create a new awakening among the people about the need for this.
Now Artificial Intelligence (AI) is entering. It is important to explain its far-reaching consequences and adverse effects from an environmental perspective to the people through campaigns and commentaries.
Without expecting only governments, people’s organizations must find appropriate remedies for this through their harmonious coordination; they can find them.
l Let us work to create natural intelligence, come along! Come along!!
Are these challenges that humanity has not met? Man’s unparalleled rationality will certainly give the right answer as a solution to this too!
Let us work to create the natural intelligence that “Protecting the environment is not for others; it is for ourselves”, come along! Come along!!
