On 23rd October 2024, the President of the Dravidar Kazhagam Dr.K.Veeramani, released a significant statement (published in ‘Viduthalai’ – 23.10.2024) severely condemning the fake ‘God-Man’ Nithyananda who has been claiming to be the incarnation of ‘god’ and challenging daringly the court and the Government. He has stated that the Union Government reserves the right to seize the assets of such charlatans and freeze all their bank accounts by appropriate action. He has further added that an exclusive wing could be formed in the Police department to initiate suitable action against such tricksters who roam around as self-appointed’ ‘god-men’.
Unreasonable tolerance
Inspite of the issue of arrest warrants in several cases, Nithyananda continues to be absconding, challenging Indian judiciary. He has been announcing time and again that he is a great incarnation of ‘god’ and that he has formed, an exclusive kingdom for himself called ‘Kailash’ which is under his rule. He has also been declaring that as the President of his autonomous empire, he can issue VISA to anyone who needs it.
He has been blabbering endlessly and enticing gullible women. Amassing huge wealth in a very short period, he has also been appearing on T.V. Screen participating in superstitious programmes telecast by some channels. He has been pulling wool over the eyes of the Government and the judiciary. The Courts of law have rightly asked – “Why is this crazy man still being tolerated by all? Why are his assets being safeguarded by the Government?”

The end-not too far

When confirmed facts crop up, the culprits involved are sure to be behind the bars. These fake “god-men” thrive, flourish and prosper by the patronage of some of the so called “Big Sharks” in society who visit such “Spiritual Spots” seeking the blessings of bogus ‘god-men’. People who know much about the dark side of Nithyananda live in Thiruvannamalai and other cities in Tamil Nadu. They know his history but are silent, for reasons best known only to them.
An endless list of culprits
The spiritual leader called ‘Madurai Adeenam’ of Tamil Nadu, who is no more, was also once duped by Nithyananda but the leader escaped disaster before it was too late. A disciple of Nithyananda named Surekha of Karnataka submitted an appeal seeking anticipatory bail. She had stated that Nithyananda had trapped her cleverly in a land grab case and that she was wrongly accused. This case was heard on 22nd October 2024 by Justice Bharat Chakravarthy. The plaintiff was against the grant of bail to the defendant. It was at that stage that the Justice asked why the property of these god-men are not yet seized by the Government.
The Right for Seizure:
Clad in saffron apparels, wicked god-men like Nithyananda and many others are merrily moving around with assets earned by foul means. The Government has the right to seize all those assets, but they have been safeguarding them instead. The Government of Tamil Nadu is also urged upon to form a special wing in the Police Department to help society get rid of these human whales.
