During the discussion meet held on 11th of May, 2025, at Periyar Thidal, Chennai, each member of the Youth Wing of Dravidar Kazhagam reaffirmed his oath and swore, declaring briefly what made him join the Youth Wing. Their promises, pledge and assurances were all as follows:

I joined the Youth Wing of the Dravidar Kazhagam and got bound with it because —
- This movement was founded by Thanthai Periyar, the pedagogue of free thinking and wisdom, who stressed that dignity and intellect alone beautify humankind. Manudharma denied us literacy from time immemorial. Dravidar Kazhagam protested against the injustice and emerged successful.
- I joined this Youth Wing of the Dravidar Kazhagam because it aims at transforming ours as a casteless society, absolutely egalitarian, establishing equality and social justice, without gender bias anywhere. This movement has been swimming against the cross-currents of turbulent life. It has been a barrack of noble ideals, successful in its vision and mission to a great extent. Since the youth wing is an offspring of the distinctive Dravidar Kazhagam, I joined it and became a part of it. I swear allegiance to the great movement formed by Thanthai Periyar.
- I swear to remain selfless at all times and never be tempted by desire for posts, positions and political limelight. Self-respect, Rationalism and invigorated public services alone would be the air I breathe. I take a pledge to give up temptations, greed and avarice. I swear to spend the rest of my life as a sturdy volunteer serving the people. I take an oath to adhere to the self-respect principle of Periyar and lead my life following his ideals throughout my life like a brave warrior.
Henceforth, my thoughts and actions would all revolve only around the principles of Dravidar Kazhagam. To achieve the noble objectives of the movement and succeed shall be my sole mission. I sacrifice myself wholly to lead my life in an ideological way. I promise to be a loyal member of the youth wing with unflinching resolve and unswerving patience, devoid of all sorts of temptations.
