Dr. K. Veeramani
Tamil Nadu Progressive writers and Artists Association in Chennai convened a Sanatana Abolition meet on 2nd September, 2023 in the capital city. Dr.K.Veeramani, President of the Dravidar Kazhagam(DK) addressed the participants stressing the dire need to totally abolish and annihilate Sanatana. He spoke on the topic- ‘The Terrible History of the Sanatana’. His speech was as follows in brief:

“Sanatana is against humanity itself. Organising ‘Sanatana elimination meet’ rather than merely ‘Sanatana Opposition Meet’ is commendable indeed. Those who talk about one nation, one religion, one election and one language do not talk of ‘one caste’. This is because they function under Hindutva called Sanatana. They are now trying to bring about “one election’, to grab power and rule permanently.”
Sanatana itself means the Hindutva. The vedas are the source of Sanatana. They are dividing people in the name of caste and religion. Our vision is aided by our education. The Manusmriti says that a stout horse, a rogue elephant and an educated sudhra are dangerous.
Hence the Manusmriti is against people of lower strata becoming literate and rising in life as doctors or engineers. Therefore, Sanatana, that is against equality, must be totally eliminated. Social Justice lies in the concept ‘Everything to everyone.’ For humanism and equality to blossom and thrive, the Varnashrama should be annihilated.
“The Union government is about to impose a hereditary occupational education scheme in the name of ‘Vishwakarma’. It forms a new education policy and implements in different parts in different stages. The Vishwakarma Yojana is one of those parts. We shall not allow it to infiltrate. This ‘Sanatana Elimination Meet’ is being held at the right time as a call for an ideological warfare. The voice should continue to resonate.”
“The Opposition parties have allied as Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A) and have already convened three meetings. The BJP has been threatened by this. This alliance would certainly emerge victorious. A change of rule would surely happen by the forthcoming parliamentary election. People and all the political leaders are ready for the change.”
“A Santana Elimination Alliance must likewise be formed on the basis of science and culture. All are to be united and brought together irrespective of difference of opinions and policies. They have to accept the cultural and scientific base of the alliance. It is not enough to think merely of the next election. Thinking about the next generation is important. The Sanatana Elimination Alliance must be formed accordingly. Those in the alliance should act beyond political gains. Periyar, Ambedkar and Marx are with us as armours and combat devices. May Sanatan be eradicated and annihilated. Let equality and egalitarianism win and thrive!”
