he Dravidar Kazhagam(DK) conducted protest agitations on 16th October 2025 throughout the Tamil Nadu State and the Union territory of Puducherry condemning the ‘hurling shoes’ at the Chief Justice of India. The man who projected at the shameful
occurrence pronounced ‘Long Live Sanadhana’ with the deliberate intend to insult the CJI; the position is the apex in the Judiciary, one among the three pillars of the democratic and secular republic. This Judicial Authority administers Oath of Office to the first citizen of the Republic – President of India.The offence committed person who practises at the Supreme Court did it while the CJI was discharging the judicial responsibility at the apex court. The naked perception that is revealed to the entire country about ‘his/their’ non acceptability of a person hailing from oppressed community on having risen to the apex position, despite his academic and judicial credentials both of at Bar and Bench. The offender who was escorted after the incident was not arrested but let free after a formal inquiry. It is an unbecoming ‘event’ on the part of the law and order authority. Justification for the shameful act has been done by the ‘dignified’ offender. This reminds the declaration made by Nathuram Godse in the Gandhi assassination case. In both the cases it is not the enmity between the two individuals; it is the non acceptability of the dominant ideals against the rise of the centuries- ridden oppression of toiling major masses of the land. The ‘ incident’ has proved that the social conditions in the country have not changed even after 75 years, the Indian Constitution came into effect, the core of which stresses the equality of humans. The condemning agitations held throughout Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, flooded with the participation of the Black shirt cadres, functionaries of fraternal political parties and social organisations.This is once again a beginning, recommenced against the sustaining inhuman ideals by the self respective and rights ensuring flames that would proliferate throughout the subcontinent.
