Let them replace “untouchability is abolished” in Article 17 of the Constitution of India with “caste is abolished”!
Why didn’t the BJP-RSS Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who announces ‘One Nation, One Language, one Uniform Civil Code, One Election and One Ration Card come forward to enact laws to abolish the Varna system that has thousands of castes and to declare that all people are equal?
Are they prepared to bring a constitutional amendment
for abolition of caste system?
Why didn’t they come forward to establish the equality and fraternity of all people by bringing an amendment to Art. 17 of the Constitution of India, replacing the words “untouchability is abolished”, with the words “caste is abolished”, declaring that adoption of the caste system in any form is a crime ?
Who is standing in the way to do so? is our question.
What RSS ideologue Golwalkar says. That gives the immediate answer.
Golwalkar’s ‘Bunch of Thoughts’ considered the bible of RSS and Sangh Parivar provides the answer in page 162:
“The greatness of our society is its fourfold Varna (caste) system. But it is ridiculed today as casteism. Our people are thinking that talking about Varna system itself is ridiculous. They wrongly consider that the society formed on the basis of the four divisions of Varna system is against Social Justice.
All along it is being told that the society is the manifestation of the four types of forms of the God and people have to worship accordingly.
According to that system, the Brahmin is getting famous and prominent by giving wisdom to others, the Kshatriya is becoming famous because of his action in destroying his opponents. The Vaishya, who has developed the wealth of the society by his commercial and agricultural activities, is not considered less important and famous. Similarly the Shudra who was serving the society with his handicraft skills, is also considered to be famous”. Thus said by M.S.Golwalkar.
Wrong explanations to deceive the innocent
An explanation is given to cheat and divert the innocent people.
“Brain thinks;
Heart keeps one alive.
Hands does work and
the legs are for walking.
Other parts of the body are doing different functions”
They are giving such irrelevant and wrong examples.
All these organs are in one body and how that touching of one organ on another organ, will get polluted? Is there any untouchability among them?
Another mischievous and cheating argument
Once when Golwalkar said that the division of people by caste is like the division of labour among them, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar retorted immediately saying that ‘this is not division of labour; but division of labourers’, a vicious arrangement to divide people as upper and lower castes.
Can we tell that Hindu religion is a unitary religion? Is not Hindu religion divided into many sects?
Whether ‘vadakalai’ and ‘thenkalai’ sects of Vaishnavism are the same?
Why do they hesitate to bring uniformity within the Hindu religion first?
The forward class people can’t rally, as they are not majority, but a miniscule minority. To show them as majority, they require a Hindu blanket.
Name of Hindu religion was coined by foreigner
Kanchi Sankaracharya has said that the name Hindu was given by foreigners (Voice of God Tamil book, Part I pages 267-268) and before mobilisation of people of all castes to show that the Hindus are majority, is it not their duty to come forward to abolish the caste system? Is it not the bounden duty of the RSS and sangh parivar who are giving call for the unity of the Hindu people, to take up the agitation to abolish the caste system even before us?
By simply stating that untouchability is abolished, don’t try to divert the attention of people saying that you have brought fraternity among the people.
Will equality bloom before caste is abolished?
The fountainhead, lifeline and existence of untouchability is caste! Caste!! Caste!!!
Without destroying caste, no equality, fraternity, freedom or enjoyment will ever happen!
This is what Dravidar Kazhagam and its founder leader Thanthai Periyar were fighting all along from those days till now!
Dear Youth and comrades who are dreaming to see an equal society – an egalitarian society!
Please come forward to join Dravidar Kazhagam to fight for the abolition of the caste system!
