Humanist Canada, one of the organizers of International Humanism Conference on Social Justice has chosen Asiriyar Dr.K.Veeramani, President, Dravidar Kazhagam for ‘Humanist Achievement Award 2022’. The Award was presented to Asiriyar at the Conference held at Centennial College Event Centre, Scarborough, Toronto on 25th September 2022.
Humanist Canada has announced that the Award has been conferred on Asiriyar Dr.K.Veeramani in recognition of his lifelong contributions to Humanism and Human Rights.
Martin Frith, President, Humanist Canada presented the Award. On behalf of Asiriyar, the Award was received by V.Kumaresan, Treasurer, Dravidar Kazhagam along with the delegate – functionaries and cadres of Dravidar Kazhagam and in the presence of Dr. Soma Ilangovan and Arulselvi Balaguru of Periyar International, USA.
Asiriyar Dr. K. Veeramani witnessed virtually by remaining at Periyar Thidal, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India along with multitude of the functionaries and cadres of Dravidar Kazhagam.
