We, Dravidar Kazhagam, founded by the social revolutionary Thanthai Periyar E.V.Ramasamy (1879 – 1973) feel proud on your assuming the highest position of the governance. As a social justice movement, we consider your holding the position well deserved after discharging the social and political responsibilities at various levels in the State governance.
Hailing from the tribal community who are the aborigines of the country, you are the first S.T., first woman from it assuming the office. It is a proven success in the dispensation of social justice as well as gender justice. Your candidature for the Presidency had no opposition on the basis of social justice. We earnestly respect this basis and expect your excellency to move the wheel of social justice to many communities who are deprived.
We hope and trust constitutional propriety and philosophy will glitter in your regime.
